NPCA Member Scholarships

SIT Graduate Institute Scholarships


Academic scholarships allow NPCA members to pursue master’s degrees in international programs through SIT Graduate Institute. NPCA members who have one year or more of significant international experience are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Several competitive awards for all degrees are made each year. The SIT NPCA Scholarship offers 25% off tuition benefit to all members, and now also offers 35% off to members affected by the COVID-19 crisis.

NEW SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS! School for International Training (SIT) has supported the Peace Corps community from its inception in the early 1960s, when we were among the first institutions in the country to train the very first Peace Corps Volunteers as they prepared to go abroad. We continue to stand in solidarity and partnership with the Peace Corps community today.

In this spirit, we offer our support to returned Peace Corps Volunteers who were abruptly moved back to the United States in spring 2020 as a result of the novel coronavirus pandemic and who may now find themselves in search of next steps for their future. We will support these individuals with the following:

NPCA has increased to 35% off tuition for spring 2020 returnees who needed to come home due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. The benefit is valid for two years, starting in fall 2020 for the following programs:

USC Marshall School of Business


The University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business will award scholarships of up to US $45,000 for its one-year IBEAR MBA program in Los Angeles to RPCVs who are also NPCA members. This scholarship opportunity also includes a housing subsidy of $9,000 to $15,000 for students who live in the IBEAR Residential Complex. Limited to a select group of 56 participants, a typical IBEAR class features participants from 11-15 countries. With an average age of 35 and an average of 11 years of work experience. Northeastern University


The Northeastern University's Full Circle Scholarship offers a 25% tuition discount to graduate applicants who embody Northeastern University’s values of experiential and global learning. New, incoming students who have completed a term of service with the Peace Corps and are NPCA members are eligible. Programs are available at Northeastern’s campus locations in Boston, Seattle, Silicon Valley, Charlotte, and Toronto, and online.

 

 


 

Peace Corps Prep (for undergrads)


Peace Corps Prep is a certificate program for undergraduates that centers on one empowering question: How can you prepare yourself to be the best Peace Corps Volunteer you can be? 

Peace Corps Prep creates a framework integrating coursework with hands-on experience and professional development. Upon completion of the program, you will receive a certificate from the Peace Corps—and a competitive edge when applying for Peace Corps service.

Peace Corps Prep corresponds with the Peace Corps' application process, which lets you choose where you want to go and what you want to do. You can explore and discover the Peace Corps Prep opportunities that excite you, and what skills you will need to be a competitive applicant for those positions.
