Affiliate Group Network

    The Affiliate Group Network (AGN) facilitates communication between and among NPCA affiliate groups for purposes of sharing best practices and collaboration. It consists formally of an annual meeting of the leadership of NPCA’s affiliate groups, scheduled each year in conjunction with the Peace Corps Connect conference. The meeting is open to all.Throughout the year, NPCA affiliate groups are encouraged to communicate via the Facebook Affiliate Group Network group page.

    Affiliate Group Network Annual Meeting

    We encourage you to attend the annual meeting to discuss the past and future events of NPCA and its affiliate groups and meet other group leaders and NPCA staff in person. 

    The 2023 Affiliate Group Network Annual Meeting was held online on September 9, 2023. Draft minutes will be posted here in the near future.

    NPCA affiliate group delegates elect an Affiliate Group Network (AGN) Coordinator every two years. The AGN Coordinator is a voting member of the NPCA Board of Directors, per the NPCA bylaws. Kristina Owens was elected by the groups to fill the position for the 2022-2024 term.

    Affiliate Group Network Advisory Committee

    The Affiliate Group Network Advisory Committee (AGNAC) plays a critical role facilitating communication and collaboration between affiliate groups and the NPCA Board and staff. AGNAC provides feedback on programs and policies that affect NPCA members and elevates ideas and best practice that foster coopera-tion across NPCA.

    AGNAC participants are appointed by the Affiliate Group Network Coordinator, in consultation with affiliate group leaders. They are drawn from different categories of NPCA affiliates (country of service, geographic, cause, workplace and affinity) and serve a two-year term.
